JEA offers several convenient payment options:

JEA MyBill Online Payment

Sign up to make a payment online through the JEA My Bill Online Account Management. Enrollment is free and available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Payments can be made using your checking account, savings account, credit card (Discover, masterCard or Visa) or debit card. Enrolling in JEA MyBill Online account management not only allows you to receive, view and pay your bill online but also to receive text message updates for bill payment, schedule recurring autodraft payments, access billing and payment history, manage multiple accounts in one place and manage your paperless billing options. Click on the “Manage Account” button in the top left corner to begin. You must have your 12-digit account number handy to enroll.

Snap’n Pay QR Code

Use the unique Snap’n Pay QR Code printed on your JEA bill stub. Simply open a QR Code Reader app on your mobile device, point the camera on your device over the code to center it on your screen and the app will launch the JEA My Bill One-Time Payment page. Your 12-digit account number will be automatically populated, so follow the prompts on the screen to make your payment. If you’d like to set up recurring autodraft payments from your mobile device, use the Snap’n Enroll QR Code printed on your JEA bill stub. Following the same steps above, the QR Code Reader app will launch the JEA My Bill Enrollment page. Again your 12-digit account number will be populated so just follow the prompts. No need to have your account number handy.

Bank Draft (Automatic Payment Plan)

Authorize your bank to automatically deduct the amount of your monthly utility bill from your checking account. To sign up, click on the “Pay by Bank Draft” link in the top left corner to begin or stop by one of our Customer Center locations: 2030 Pleasant Plains Extended or 351 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Drive.

Mail

Use the envelope enclosed with your bill to drop your payment in the mail. Send the top portion of your bill along with your payment to Jackson Energy Authority, P.O. Box 68, Jackson, TN 38302-0068.

Walk-In or Drive-Thru

Visit either of our Customer Center locations to make a payment to a friendly cashier face--to-face or at the drive-thru window. The Customer Center downtown is located at 351 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and open Mon.-Fri. 8am-5pm for Walk-In payments and 7:30am-6pm for Drive-Thru payments. The Customer Center north is located at 2030 Pleasant Plains Extended (The Columns) and is open Mon.-Fri. 8am-6pm; Sat. 9am-1pm for Walk-In and Drive-Thru payments.

Self-Service Kiosks

Visit either of our Customer Center locations to make a payment using the self-service payment kiosk. Have your account number handy and follow the touch screen prompts to complete the payment using check, cash, credit or debit card. The kiosk at the Customer Center downtown is located inside the foyer while the kiosk at the Customer Center in The Columns out North is located in the drive-thru.

JEA Drop Box

After hours, drop your payment into the drop box located at the Customer Center downtown. Use theĀ  envelope enclosed with your bill and include the top portion of your bill along with payment. Seal the envelope and drop it in the drop box located just past the cashier window in the drive-thru.

Third Party Notification

Where applicable, account holders can designate a third party to be notified of a past due account. The third party serves only as an additional communication link and will not be responsible for payments to the account.
