The NEW Jackson Energy Authority Mobile App Is Now LIVE!
To better serve our customers and offer greater enhancements, we have transitioned to a new mobile app and it’s now live. The mobile app offers utility account access from a smart device to provide convenient utility account management.
The new app offers the ability to:
- View statement and billing history
- NEW! Monitor utility usage
- NEW! Make a payment and save payment information
- Easily manage multiple accounts
- Receive important outage notifications and alerts
- Submit electric outages
- NEW! Use FaceId
As this is a transition to a new application, existing username and password logins will not be applicable. The current app should be deleted from the device before downloading the new app. Once downloaded, a JEA 12-digit account number and the last 4 digits of the Social Security Number tied to the account or any previous statement amount will be needed to begin setup. Once setup in the app is complete, functionality between the app and online portal will be seamless.
Features in the new app include:
Provides information about the customer profile and can be updated at any time.
Lists all utility accounts linked to the customer profile.
Once an account has been selected, options are available for:
Gives an overview of current balance, last update, account summary, and payment activity. Also offers options to make a payment, view bill summary (including a pdf download), and access to the Electric Outage Center.
Provides historical information about the selected account at-a-glance or via a downloadable pdf file.
Provides historical payment information and a link to make a payment.
Shows current outage information, important reminders, and a link to report an electric outage as an electric customer.
Usage Summary NEW!
Monitor utility service usage based on monthly, daily, or intervals where applicable, in a comparison or aggregate view.
Provides multiple methods of payment including checking account, savings account, credit card (Discover, MasterCard, or Visa), or debit card with the option to save payment information.
Provides hours, locations, phone numbers, and email addresses for each Customer Center location.
