Garbage Pickup

As a convenience to City residents, Jackson Energy Authority acts as a billing and collection agent only for the City garbage service. “City Garbage Collection” on your utility bill is a charge from the City of Jackson or the City of Medina (whichever city you live in) for picking up your garbage. Everyone inside the City of Jackson and City of Medina will incur this fee. For questions regarding your garbage collection in the Jackson area, please visit the City of Jackson Health and Sanitation Department website or call 731-425-8545 between the hours of 7am and 4pm Monday through Friday.
