ACP End
Affordable Connectivity Program
PLEASE NOTE: Due to a lack of additional funding from Congress, the FCC’s Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) ended June 1, 2024. The last day for consumers to enroll is on February 7, 2024. At the conclusion of the program, the $30 per month benefit toward Internet service will no longer be applied to your JEA billing statement. The April 2024 bill will be the last statement with the $30 ACP discount applied. No action is required to continue receiving EPlus Broadband Internet service at this time. If you have any questions about the ACP or would like to make changes to your services, please call Jackson Energy Authority at 731-422-7500. Continue to check this web page for updates or visit the FCC’s dedicated ACP site https://www.fcc.gov/acp.
What is ACP?
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) program that replaces the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBB Program) to help low-income households pay for Internet services and connected devices.
Jackson Energy Authority is an approved ACP provider.
The benefit provides up to $30/month discount for internet service that could result in minimal to no charge for your EPlus Broadband high-speed internet service depending on the package you select. Note: Households are required to recertify annually for ACP.
View the Packages & Pricing page for bundled services including Cable TV, Internet, and Telephone.
